Beautiful morning with everything in place but the waves

Hello Friends,

Our hopes for some residual swell this morning have been dashed. But everything else about today’s start is without blemish. Wind was 9-14 kts from the WSW at 0630 and tide was dropping to the low at 1005, but swell was 1.4 metres at 7 seconds from the east. So no surf for Dee Why point, nor up the beach from there. I suppose you might find a tiny little thing at Northy or Curly maybe, but I’d be taking the mal or your nearest equivalent.

Have a good one, and for the week ahead outlook, check the Mighty Goat’s latest.

Tiny and shutting down

Weather Situation

A low near Tasmania is moving east and an associated trough and southerly change is pushing north along the New South Wales coast. It is expected to pass through the north coast today. A weak ridge of high pressure is expected to move over the state and into the Tasman Sea in the wake of the trough. Another trough is expected to move along the coast Sunday and Monday with a high southwest of Tasmania extending a ridge along the coast in its wake.
