Hello Friends,
The pictures tell the story: 10-15+ kts of S-SSE wind ripping surface conditions into nearly unsurfable chop. The dedicated few at Dee Why were doing a lot of waiting for the occasional craptacular chest high section. Nice weather though!
Don’t forget to check back later for the Goat’s take on our week-ahead prospects.
Weather Situation
A trough and southerly change has moved along the entire coast and a weak low pressure system has developed over the Tasman Sea, well east of the New South Wales coast. The low will remain slow-moving over the next couple of days and a high-pressure system will move east into the southern Tasman Sea maintaining the south to southeasterly airstream along the coast. A second trough is expected to move north along the coast on Saturday with a strengthening in the southerly expected.
