Little sunny Wednesday

Hello Friends,

Another sunny morning after what’s been a somewhat gloomy summer. Surf prospects aren’t amazing, but if you take your floatiest option, there should be the odd knee to waist high thing along the open stretches. Swell at sea was 1.5 metres at 8 seconds from the east as of 0800 offshore of Botany Bay. Wind was coming lightly from the NW and water was clean and 23. Tide was low at 0630 and is currently coming into the 1.69 high at 1240.

Tomorrow and Thursday look like being cloudy, small and onshore. But there might be a brief window of opportunity for the dawn patrol to score knee to waist-plusses and less choppy surface conditions before the wind kicks in.

Have a good one!

Weather Situation

A cold front and an associated trough crosses the southern and central parts of the state. A strong and gusty southerly change moves north along the coast today, stalling about the Mid North Coast in the evening. Easterly winds will prevail through to the end of the week as a trough becomes established over inland New South Wales and a ridge builds over Tasmania.
