"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Textured waves early

Hello Friends,

A light NNW breeze was bumping up the surface of a chest to shoulder high (on sets) E to SE combo swell that was 1.5 metres at sea and arriving at 11 second intervals. It’s not as clean as yesterday morning, but the size seems to be pretty similar. You’ll definitely get something, so I’d be hitting it earlier rather than later when the wind’s due to arrive. The Bureau tells us that we’ll have showery weather and strong southerly wind tomorrow.

As for the week ahead, well, the Goat has thoughts

Have a great Friday everyone!

Weather Situation

A high-pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is slowly heading east while a deep low south of the Bight is forecast to pass well to the south over the next couple of days. A cold front and trough associated with the low will bring a gusty southerly change to coastal waters on Friday and Saturday. Winds will ease and tend northeasterly over the southern and central coastal waters from Sunday onwards as a new high pressure system drifts across the coastal waters.
