Hello Friends,
A hot and sunny day coming up for Sydney with a high of 35 on the cards but, sadly, we won’t have much in the way of waves. At 0730 the wind was coming from the NNE at 11-14 kts. It’ll get into the 15-20 kts range as the day heats up. At 0500, the MHL buoy was detecting 1.3 metres of 6 second period east wind swell, so, if you’re lucky, you might see the odd waist high wave face.
Weather Situation
A trough crosses southern and central parts of the New South Wales coast today, bringing a fresh southerly wind change in its wake. A second cold front looks set to link with the trough on Saturday, bringing another fresh to possibly strong and gusty southerly change.
