Hello Friends,
Socked in at the RealSurf crows nest again this morning, but had to run to Manly so grabbed a couple pics in the rain. Water quality looks pretty bad and beachwatch is basically saying everything south of Avalon to Greenhills in the Shire is either dodgy or outright polluted. Manly lugga was pouring out a toxic looking stew when I went by and Narrabeen lagoon is wide open at the moment, so there’s lots of run-off and stormwater along the beaches.
Manly had some very soft, inconsistent little knee to knee and a bit wave faces for those extra keen types who surf on days like this. No one was in the water that I could see at Curly and at Dee Why the crew were well up the beach toward the Pole where it was maybe possibly waist-ish on the bombs. Again, soft, fat and inconsistent were the watchwords.
Gotta do a radio thing shortly so keeping it short.
Have a great day and maybe give the polluted spots a miss!
