Stopped by Curly this morning and shot a brief video on my phone. Not sure it’s much use in and of itself, but I’m learning about the limitations and possibilities…
Nice Early but now…
There were some nice around early but it definetley wasn’t yesterday. Still 3 – 5 foot. Southerly hit around 8.30am so its southern end for the rest of the days surfin. Cheers SPoY.
Early bump with the low.
Subscribe to SPoY. There is some early bump to the 2 – 3 foot SE swell. Wind will swing from the NE and may clean it up a little at the northern ends. Cheers SPoY.
Chasing it
Popped over to Curly to chase the dying SE swell and a healthy crew had decided to do the same. Only a couple of peaks to share the warm air and cool water with. I guess it could have been worse….maybe. Surfboards Direct
Tomorrow..
The waves quickly dried up this morning with the 6.17am high. I snapped a couple down at South Curly but its only 1 foot. A small pulse is expected tomorrow and there maybe something towards the end of the week. Enjoy. Surf Photos of You.

Saturday morning saw the last little remnants of the previous day’s wind swell winding down. I happened to go by Curly around 0930 and stopped to do a bit of shooting. Waves were cute and the folks out there seemed to be having fun. Maybe you were one of them?

Curling into winter
Had some time on the first official day of winter so left fun looking 2ft Manly and surfed Curly. The odd 4ft bomb actually came through but lots of shut downs. If you could get on the end of one there was some hollow section though. 11:30am and the wind is still friendly. Surfboards Direct
Grey early.
