Posted on February 14th, 2009 in Sunshine Coast.rainy,windy and a big swell means everybody will be heading for either noosa or Mooloolaba.Open beaches are a mess.Winds are predicted to reach 40 knots and swing around to the Ne later in day.
Onshore dribble
Posted on February 4th, 2009 in Sunshine Coast.Not much happening on the southern end of the coast today.Winds are already onshore and wave height is around waist high.Add in a few bluebottles and you have got yourself a top day to do something other than surf.

Posted on January 28th, 2009 in Sunshine Coast.The winds are already blowing onshore out of the east making what waves there are bumpy and lumpy.Not really worth the effort today.Wave height is expected to pick up over the next couple of days though.

It’s Saturday
Posted on January 10th, 2009 in Sunshine Coast.The swell has picked up overnight. At first light the wind was already blowing from the south but will shift more to the SE and increase throughout the day. Most places will be rubbish today.Noosa will have waves and the crowd to go with ,Malabar has some clean waves on the high tide, Moffats has a few on the inside but the Windansea board riders have there comp set up there.Weather wise warm but over cast and showery.
Bumpy Waves
Posted on January 7th, 2009 in Sunshine Coast.The easterly swell is making conditions on most beaches bumpy today.But there is still some fun waves to be had.There will be some waves at the outer bays ofnoosa,alex and moffats,but don’t expect quality.
Summertime waves
