Hungry Sunday

Swell wasn’t pumping in early like most thought but it could be the 8am high backing things off.  A large hungry Sunday morning crew out and not too many peaks to spread things out.  When they finally came the sets were great looking and overhead.  Hopefully as tide drops and days progress all factors improve.  Can’t imagine the crowd going home though.  Looks like 2 swell directions in the mix so everywhere should be good.  Go hunting!

Godd times comin

Looking like a great few days of waves to come.  This morning has inconsistent head high sets that are a bit straight on the higher tide. Low is at 1:09pm so it can only improve. Swell is supposed to slowly build and be solid by tomorrow.  QBC have their comp on today at the north end but everywhere should have good waves today.  Wind is supposed to swing to a gusty S or Sw later which will limited a few north ends quality.  Get out there.

Friday Stuff

The little East swell is still rolling in but the 6:15 high had the early risers struggling to find a bank with a good wall.  Improving as I left so if you have Friday off there’s some little peelers and freak sets about.  Should stay nice and clean for a while.  Might need a longboard or fish surfboard.

Thurs Fun

Touch smaller and a lot less consistent this Thursday morning.  But if you wait the 2ft sets had nice shape and maybe getting better towards the 11:46am low tide.  Water is toasty and the sun is out.

Unridden Peaks

Looks more like a clean 2-3ft East windswell this morning with plenty of unridden peaks going through.  Wind is supposed to pick up from the north and there should be some leftover south swell in there somewhere so north corners of south swell magnets for later.  Right now it looks fun out front!  Low tide 10:49am High %:11pm

Dropped a tad

Surfs dropped to around 2ft or so. Nice offshore wind but the banks are really doing much with the swell at Manly.  maybe another beach will have better shape.  Bit warmer todays and sun is out so somewhere will have a fun wave.

A Brisk Monday

After 5 days on the Goldy with pumping warm points this morning seemed a touch tough for me in Sydney.  Biting cold wind but some nice 3-4ft south swell getting into Manly.  Would be some nice size getting into Curly and probably Dee Why too while the wind is friendly for the south magnets.  Low tide 9:06am

A nice morning for leftover East swell.  You had to wait a bit for the sets but there was still the odd head high set with consistent enough shoulder high ones that had good shape. High 10:04am.  If this was in summer we’d say it was pumping but we are a bit spoilt.  Get out there before it’s totally gone

More for Monday

Sorry didnt get time to snap any pictures this morning but the swell keeps on rolling in.  Dropped from last nights peak to about a consistent solid 4ft and maybe still bigger bomb sets.  The wind swung NW offshore just after dawn creating some interesting hollow sections.  High tide is at 9:26am  There’s still those crazy rip bowl waves along the beach so just pick you peak and enjoy the end of this great run of swell.

Pretty Nice

Now before you all rush to Manly remember photos make things look better.  Having said that there is the odd smoker, perfect conditions and a building swell.  Only downer is the 8:49am high tide.  There was some crazy rips at low tide yesterday and today’s getting bigger so learners watch for a while and everyone else….just maybe look elsewhere so selfishly it’s not too crowded?  I’m sure everywhere is pumping anyway.  Enjoy
