Surf Reports on May 2nd 2012

Superb day at the beach today, but not for the wave. Point is barely breaking, beachie only a tad bigger but it’s not flat. Get out there and enjoy it if you can–winter’s not here yet!    

Looks more like a clean 2-3ft East windswell this morning with plenty of unridden peaks going through.  Wind is supposed to pick up from the north and there should be some leftover south swell in there somewhere so north corners of south swell magnets...

The crew have waited patiently to get logged in, in Byron Bay today. Log into they did as the bay finally turned on what it’s famous for at this time of year, long clean lines. Just perfect conditions for trimming and hanging around on the beak. There...
