Hello Friends,

Sad to say it’s starting out as a dull old day. Like many of you, I awoke to the sound of fitfully dribbling downpipes and grey skies. The wind is not much of a factor but it’s due to ramp up later and be in the 20-30 kt range from S-SW by this afternoon. At around 0600, the average period dropped from 10 seconds to just six. Not that it matters given the foregoing, but the windswell has perked up ever so slightly to around the metre mark. Of course the bulk of the energy is coming from the SW, so there is really nothing hopeful in the numbers at this stage.

The Bureau says that tomorrow will be windy to start (S-SW 25-33 kts), but the swell should have started to build into the three metre range at sea. With luck the juice will stick around into the beginning of next week.

Another good day for hammering away at work I’d say.

Have a good one, and get up to some good on the way through, eh?
