Did you hear the words “cyclone” and “North Queensland” and think “woo-hoo!”? Well, it should be boo-hoo because little Ellie just barely made it up to category one status before heading into the coast. Of course being a cyclone it is at least theoretically possible for there to be a sudden change of direction, intensification, etc. But there is no sign of that happening and even if it did, it’s a long way from any swell window!
