Having seen the situation at Longy, I was unsurprised to find Curly looking ordinary. No one was in the water at the south end, and the two bods up the north end didn’t seem to be going anywhere.
The tiny amount of energy in the ocean seemed to be getting a touch more focus in the southern corner of Freshy. But no reason to drop everything and go because the sets were struggling to get above knee to waist high. You know the deal; paddle hard, jump up, eke out a turn or two before sinking out.
From what I could see, the situation is pretty much the same around the corner at Queenscliff and Manly. A few folks could be seen in the water, but as at Freshy, they were waiting quite awhile for the tiny waves to shape up.
If you had to miss it, this would be a good day to do so.
