Hello Friends,
Went by Curly on a late errand this afternoon and can report that it looked good, but upon closer inspection, proved to be rather weak and gutless. Still, it was a lot prettier than over the hill at Dee Why where the 10-15 kts of NNE wind were making it much junkier.
Swell has moved more to the south since this morning, but the average size hasn’t changed much. It’s still averaging a metre at sea and the period has bumped up slightly to 8 seconds.
Outlook for tomorrow morning is much the same as this afternoon. The models are still calling for a small uptick in the swell from the south on Wednesday morning. The Bureau doesn’t have a swell forecast for Wednesday yet, but it is calling for light NE winds early. Could be a few fun ones around at south spots…
Go well!
