If you got up early this morning anticipating a surf in clean overhead conditions based on what you saw at dark last night you were severely disappointed. From first light today the raging overnight westerlies had blown it nearly dead flat and it remains as such now at 9am. Charts are showing SE swell around 1-2m and the interval at 6-14 sec, though I haven’t seen a single instance all morning of anything resembling a 14 sec interval wave here in Dee Why. If the wind backs off later to any degree it may let a bit of swell creep through but for now, it’s pretty much flat.
