Sloppy Friday but better Saturday AM

South to SW winds a bit stronger today with gust near 17 mph. A 50% chance of thunderstorms after 3 pm. Swell will be in the 3-4 foot range through Saturday. You can catch a bumpy wave today, but I really want to talk about Saturday morning. Regardless of wind speed it will be from the West in the morning and the swell at least 3 feet so get up and check the water Saturday morning.

Looks like Tropical Storm Colin has reformed itself. It is moving NW towards Bermuda at 20 mph which puts it due East of Charleston late Saturday. I see no need to talk about surf beyond Saturday as its speed will not generate enough swell to talk about at this time. Any impact at all may occur late Monday – Wednesday. We will keep you posted.
