Seems everyone on Planet Earth has decided to come to Dee Why today. Contest is supposedly finished but they’ve just towed the marker buoys back into the water at 11am, suggesting they’ll close off the water to everyone other than the comp again soon. Add to that, there’s a market stall thing going on in the grass. Traffic, in the water, on the street and on the grass. Whatever happened to the old days when nobody wanted to come to Dee Why except the locals? Bugga.
