When big south swells leave us behind they often track right across the Pacific to California. Our last big swell started making itself felt up there a few days ago. Here’s a video of a guy named Alan Sarlo (who was a big deal in the 70’s) shooting the pier at Malibu after picking up the wave way up the point.
