"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Dee Why: Wet and not so wild.

11 Boogies on the Point at 1030hrs, all sitting wide and no one catching much of anything of note. S wind is on it and the swell still looking pretty E though the charts say it’s just shifted S this morning.  Rising swell right now 6s interval and 2-4m but increasing on all fronts.

Models are showing a significant boost in S swell over the next day and a half and my read of the charts says we’ll get even more than the forecast is suggesting. There’s a big powerful east coast low about to form off Bass Strait and I’d say we’ll see some 3m+ waves between tomorrow and Thursday beginning SE and shifting more S later.

Wind is currently 15-20knots out of the south and will probably stay that way until about midday on Wednesday and the rain also looks to be hanging about until around Thursday. Top temperatures this entire week not expected to go beyond 25c.
