Surf forecast issued Friday 20 January 2012: Seven day outlook for Sydney:
Well… between the crowded surf, banks not right, roaring rips, onshore wind/choppy surface, sea lice bites, shark alarms, and bluebottle stings… I’ve a great holiday so far! But will any of that keep me out of the water??? No way!! I’m just gettin’ warmed up!
However, the nasty sea critters had just better watch out and stay outta my way if they know what’s good for them…
We can expect more of the same for next week… Surf continuing, of questionable and variable quality, and assorted accompanyments…

Saturday – Friday: pretty much in the 1-2 metre range from the East, East/NE with variations around the theme…
Keep your eyes open for the wild creatures with teeth – there’ve been a few sightings besides the bites reported in the media. Be alert but not alarmed!
