"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Scrappy but sorta surfable

Hello Friends,

It’s set to be southerly all day in the Sydney region. The wind’s already pretty much at the projected 10-15 kts, so Dee Why is looking junky and beat up, but not so bad that you really can’t do a thing with it. There were a few bods in the water practising their moves in the knee to waist high dribblers when I grabbed the morning picture.

Skies were mainly clear as the day got started, but the Bureau tells us we’ll be getting another bought of showers later and that tomorrow will be really rainy – along with stronger southerly wind. I can hardly wait.

The swell forecast models are still pointing toward biggish SE swell for Thr-Fri with S to SW wind. Not sure about the quality but you’d have to think with 3-4 metres on the cards, there’d be somewhere with a wave worthy of the name.

Have yourself a great day!
