Just about to board the big sky bus for LAX, so I’ll make it quick. Swell has faded away to a metre at 8 seconds from the east. Your chances of finding anything above the waist high mark will not be great. However, it’s an absolute corker of a morning in Sydney and wind is light for the early. It’s supposed to turn NE by lunchtime, so I’d be heading out sooner rather than later.
The flatness looks like continuing through to Tuesday, and then Huey looks like rolling out some interesting and sizable swell. Next weekend could be quite good if the models have it right…
