Decided to make a run to the south coast yesterday. From the sound of it, we shoulda stayed in town. There was plenty of solid swell down this way, but the beachies were looking overwhelmed so everybody was on the reefs. Set wave faces were overhead to 1.5x overhead yesterday, but there was a reasonable wait between them at Golf Course where we got in. Swell angle just not quite right for that spot, but there were better options to be had elsewhere.
Have a busy day ahead, so not certain that I’ll be able to update. So go well because it looks as though we’re in for another day of pumping waves along most of the east coast.
