Hello Friends,

Only a 6 second, one metre NE wind swell on offer as Tuesday morning kicks off in Sydney.

That’s just about flat at even the most exposed spots.

So, a day for other things. Or at least a morning for it because there is a slight possibility of the NE’r pushing up something of interest in the north corners. Very much looking like a summer pattern…

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the eastern Tasman Sea is moving slowly away from Australia, while a broad trough of low pressure is situated near the western New South Wales border. Strong northerly winds will develop between these systems today. During Wednesday the trough is expected to cross the coast and weaken, bringing a brief westerly change to southern parts of the coast. A second trough and associated cold front is forecast to bring a more vigorous westerly change during Friday.
Forecast for Tuesday until midnight
Winds
North to northeasterly 10 to 20 knots increasing to 20 to 30 knots in the afternoon.
Seas
1 to 2 metres increasing to 2 to 3 metres around midday.
Swell
Southeasterly less than 1 metre.
Wednesday 11 July
Winds
North to northwesterly 20 to 30 knots becoming northwesterly 15 to 20 knots during the morning then decreasing to 10 to 15 knots during the afternoon.
Seas
Up to 4 metres decreasing to 2 metres during the morning.
Swell
Easterly about 1.5 metres tending northeasterly during the evening.
Thursday 12 July
Winds
Northwesterly 10 to 15 knots turning northerly 15 to 20 knots during the morning.
Seas
Below 1 metre increasing to 1 to 2 metres during the afternoon and evening.
