Sunny Sunday morning with a few waves about the place

Hello Friends,

Swell perked yesterday thanks to a pulse of longer period component during the morning, but it’s dropped back again this morning as the average period of the 1.5 m south wind swell has come back to around 7 seconds. That means sets are maybe into the chest high range on the bigger ones up the beach at Dee Why, so it’s not hopeless by any stretch of the imagination. According to this morning’s swell forecasting efforts, the energy level could perk a little this afternoon.

Tomorrow were in for cloudy skies, the odd shower and both ramping swell – and ramping SW winds. The Bureau has dangerous surf warnings posted for Monday and Tuesday and the other models are telling us we could be seeing 3 metre plus conditions from Monday through to Thursday.

Looking like an active sort of week coming up!

Have a great Sunday one and all.
