"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Almost glassy for the early, but we need more waves

Not much going on

Hello Friends,

Dust off yesterday, and that pretty much seems to be what we have on offer this morning. A small (@ 1m) ENE swell with an average period of about 9 seconds is delivering mainly knee high little dribblers to a sparse crew of hopefuls.

It looks from the forecast models as though we might possibly get a small east pulse on Monday-Tuesday. But it’s not a unanimous view and some interpretations of the data are less hopeful. For now I’m keeping a hopeful eye on the latest low pressure system off Queensland because there seems to be some possibility that it just might send some energy our way late next week… but we’ve had a few hopeful signs that didn’t pan out over the last month or two… Balance realism and optimism I guess.

Have yourself a top old Friday!
