Morning wavelets for those interested

Hello Friends,

Little waves to be had this morning. Similar to yesterday in that the wind was NW early and the tide was coming up (high’s at 0850). Wind will be around to the east to NE later this morning and that will take a lot of options off the list. Swell is mainly out of the SE at 9 seconds apart. Average height at sea is around 1.3 metres, and that’s about the size at the beach on the bigger ones.

There seems to be some possibility of a little uptick this afternoon, so it might be worth checking those NE-tolerant spots. But better than that prospect is the news from the world of the computer swell model interpretations. This morning sees some very optimistic calculations about the 7-10 day outlook. If they play out as this morning’s projections suggest, we could be looking at fun size waves at lots of spots from about Saturday on. Between then and now the current reckoning is more of what we’ve had over the last few days. Here’s hoping!!

Go well with your Monday everyone.
