"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Small but not unrideable

Dropped but not gone

Hello Friends,

Tide was high at 0720 and is currently dropping to the low at 1305. Cloudy skies and a 40% chance of light rain set the scene for this morning’s east by east south east swell of about a metre at close to 13 seconds. Wind was light and though it’s expected to pick up, it should remain out of the westerly quarters. These settings were delivering clean knee to waist plus conditions at Dee Why beach this morning. The point appears to have switched off.

Time for a plug…
Surfrider Foundation’s first Solstice Jam – Thr, 20 June 2013

It’s a fundraiser where the emphasis is on fun and you’re in the door with a voucher for a couple drinks and finger food for a laughable $20. You can book online right now by clicking here. Oh, and I’ll be putting together a little video clip of PC at Dee Why point in 1977. Might work in a few shots of Terry Fitz and MP as well. It comes from 16mm film I shot and is something very few people have seen… I’m also keen to source images and vid sequences from DY and the northern beaches if you know of any (all media will be credited and used only for the night).

Here’s the official bumpf
