"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Sunday fun day

All aboard!

Hello Friends,

It may have been bigger yesterday, but the quality was really pretty awful. Today the swell has dropped but it’s coming mainly from the SSE at close to 9 seconds apart with an average size at sea of around 1.3 metres. For Dee Why beach at just on high tide (0840) the aforementioned swell was delivering the odd chest plus set for a hungry long weekend crew.

This morning looks to be your best shot for a wave because the swell modelling says it could fade this afternoon as we head into a week of marginal to flat conditions.

Have yourself a great Sunday one and all!

Time for a plug…
Surfrider Foundation’s first Solstice Jam – Thr, 20 June 2013

It’s a fundraiser where the emphasis is on fun and you’re in the door with a voucher for a couple drinks and finger food for a laughable $20. You can book online right now by clicking here. Oh, and I’ll be putting together a little video clip of PC at Dee Why point in 1977. Might work in a few shots of Terry Fitz and MP as well. It comes from 16mm film I shot and is something very few people have seen… I’m also keen to source images and vid sequences from DY and the northern beaches if you know of any (all media will be credited and used only for the night).

Here’s the official bumpf
