Hello Friends,

As the Bureau predicted, we do have a small uptick in swell energy this morning. It’s out of the SE at around a metre with an average period of a touch under 10 seconds. These numbers don’t work for the point, but up the beach toward the pole at Dee Why, a small crew of young surfers were finding sets into the chest plus range. To be frank, they were 99% shutdowns, but at least there was something to be shutting down.

You’ll want to get on it ASAP though because the forecast tells us we’re heading back to flatness for tomorrow.

Tide was low at 0700 and will come in a bit to the high at 1340. Should be sunny all day too.

Have yourself a great day, and please consider kicking in to the crowdfunding effort!

Forecast issued at 4:11 am EST on Wednesday 28 August 2013.
