Noreaster morning

Hello Friends,

NE’r going from early today. There was some little E-ENE wind swell showing around the place when I checked at 0700 or so. About the most interesting looking spot I saw was (from a great distance) North Curly. Wave faces looked to be into the shoulder range on the biggest ones. Although the wind swell was getting into Freshwater, the small crew chasing them didn’t seem to be having much luck. Around at Dee Why there were a couple of bods messing about in waist high dribble near Kiddies, but you couldn’t say it was all time. There were a few people up in the protected corner at Long Reef, but I reckon they’ll be doing more sitting around than anything else. The period is just too short to really refract in there.

The NE’r is set to go all day and into tomorrow, so maybe that’ll build it up a little in those semi-protected north corners. And with luck, tomorrow morning could see something a bit more interesting at the optimal locations. I could believe head high pluses on the biggest set wave faces tomorrow morning.

Have yourself a top old Friday everyone!
