"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Yep, tiny again

Hanging out, hoping

Hello Friends,

Another day of near flat conditions. Take the long board and a large reservoir of patience. Or, just go for a beach walk (grab some litter as you leave too!). Energy is at a low ebb with only the faintest of faint SE swell lines coming in. The MHL buoy is showing 0.9 metres at 9.3 seconds from 134 degrees, which, combined with the high tide at 0800, isn’t going to amount to much anywhere. Once again, it looks as though the entire east coast is pretty much flat.

This afternoon will see a standard issue NE’r in the 15-20 kt range. That might possibly bump up a little choppy something at optimally exposed spots.

Outlook is not too encouraging either. This morning’s run of the forecast models points toward another week of mainly micro conditions. There could be a little bump Thursday-Friday according to some of the data interpretations, but it’s not looking like being much above the waist high mark at the best spots on the biggest sets even then.

It’s summer. What can ya do? Oh, hey, if you’re interested, I’ll be doing the radio thing on 702 ABC weekdays at around 0640 on the morning show with Angela Catterns and Wendy Harmer from now until I think the second week of Jan.

Tides: H @0800, L @1435
