Marginal but possible

Glassy and tiny

Hello Friends,

Only little this morning and not likely to get bigger either. Was glassy for the early, but the NE’r should start ruffling things by late morning. Once again your best shot will be where you surfed yesterday. Swell is out of the SSE at 1.5m or so at sea. There’s some 12 sec component in amongst it, but the biggest sets I saw at Dee Why beach a little after 6 were only into the waist high range.

High tide was at 0650 and the low will be at 1330

Outlook is for a NE’r day tomorrow with only tiny south dribble – so it may be a challenge to do the old end of old year, start of new year ritual at most place. Much keeness will be required.

The first week of 2014 looks like being more smallness with mornings being the best shot. The very long range forecast has mid-month shaping up to be interesting. Hope that comes true because I’m more than ready for a proper wave…

Happy New Year everybody!
