"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Down another cog but still a few about

Hello Friends,

Following the trend set firmly in place yesterday, this morning sees conditions distinctly smaller again. The swell’s fading away, but this morning’s first shift was still picking up the odd chest high wave face up the beach and the occasional waist high little runner along the rocks at the point.

As of 0700 swell was coming from the SSE at nearly 1.5 metres with a reasonable 9 second period. Wind is set to be light and offshore all day long. Tide was low at 0815 and will be back to high at 1310.

Not sure if there’ll be much of anything at all tomorrow and right now Tues-Thr is looking basically flat according to the models.

There seems to be a south change shaping for Friday-Saturday, but surf conditions look like being scrappy for next weekend.

So get out there if you can and have yourself a good one!
