Marginal but do-able early at east spots

Hello Friends,

Heading toward low tide at 0910 and as of 0700 the wind was still lightly from the NW. Hardly any swell showing. Dee Why was the realm of SUPs but elsewhere the generally east direction of the knee to waist wind swell could be delivering the odd diversion.

The wind is due to come around to the NE and get up to 15-25 kt by around lunchtime, so if you want a clean but tiny wave, go sooner rather than later. Otherwise, you might want to check your fave NE wind spot an hour or so dark.

Outlook for the week ahead hasn’t shifted too much. Basically it looks like tomorrow will be light and variable wind for the morning session. Swell is shaping to be pretty marginal though. Not sure at this stage if it’ll even be surfable. Kinda depends on how hard and late the NEr goes.

Some of the models are showing a little uptick in energy levels for Wednesday, but others predict flatness or near enough. I’m resolutely hopeful!

Have yourself a great Monday everybody and go well with your plans.
