"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Very low key start but maybe later…

Hello Friends,

Nice wind conditions early, but sadly our swell energy’s faded overnight. Dee Why, which didn’t really pick up the energy in a big way yesterday is near flat this morning. No one in the water at the beach that I could see as of 0615. Swell seems to be around the metre mark at under 9 seconds from the east. So, if you find a magnet spot picking up the energy, dive in and enjoy. I reckon waist high will be the upper limit most places until the southerly energy makes itself felt late in the day.

Tomorrow looks promising for south swell spots in the morning. The wind is expected to fade to light and variable overnight and the models say we can expect 1.5-2m of 10-sec south swell. Magnet spots could be into the head plus range on the sets.

Just working on a fresh gallery from late yesterday afternoon at Gardens. It was pumping when most everywhere else was marginal. Pics up soon.

Have a great day everyone!

Weather Situation

A deep low pressure centre is situated to the east of Tasmania, with an associated trough extending in to northeast New South Wales. The trough will continue eastwards across the Tasman Sea Thursday, while a weak high pressure ridge develops over the state’s west. This pattern will see winds shifting south to southeasterly during Thursday, then becoming generally northeasterly again on Friday before the next trough and southerly change on the weekend.
