Waves for Sunday morning

Hello Friends,

Light NW wind early ahead of the NE’r and more of the 2 metre 9-10s ENE swell on tap. Not many spitting barrels to be had, but wave faces on the bigger ones are in the chest plus range. I’d say if you got waves there yesterday, you should head back there today. But there’s no reason in won’t be crazy crowded again either, what with the 35-degree day, holiday weekend, 22C water and all.

Tide was low at 0645 and will be back to high just on 1300.

Southerly change is due this afternoon and from that point on we’re into a stretch of pretty much unrelenting SE wind until Friday morning according to the Bureau’s forecast models.

So, this morning’s sesh could be about the best option we’ll have for quite some time.

Have yourself a top day and take a chilled attitude into the water this morning, there’ll be lots of us to share with!

Weather Situation

A cold front and southerly change will move along the southern and central coasts today, continuing to the far north during Monday. Behind this a high pressure system will push a ridge along the coast, with a generally southeasterly airstream likely to remain through much of the coming week.
