Looks like a few little waves this morning

Hello Friends,

Wind was light and surface conditions smooth as Friday morning rolled into view. Swell angle has changed to the SE and as a consequence the point is picking up a few knee to waist plus bumps while the beach is maybe a touch bigger but shutting down quite a bit. Wind’s set to be south to SE but only getting up to 10 kts or so. Tide’s low at 1105.

The Bureau’s swell forecast calls for the energy to fade this morning but not to go flat. Looking at this morning’s swell models, I reckon the Goat’s call (see below) is pretty much right on for the rest of the week. The very long range projections are looking pretty small and marginal through to mid-month. Hope they’re wrong!

Sorry about the disappearance of our daily gallery. I’ll try to come up with an alternative of some sort asap.

Have yourself a great Friday and get wet if you can!
