Dee Why’s looking pretty small this morning. Couldn’t see anyone in the water along the beach and only a couple of folks messing about at the point on rescue boards. Swell is out of the east at about a metre but with a period of only 7 seconds. That being the case, as with yesterday, there should be knee to waist high little things at spots better tuned to the delicate conditions than Dee Why.
Wind is expected to ramp up from the N-NW and the Bureau says they expect the swell to go more NE and to pick up in the afternoon. Hmmm…
I’m liking the look of the Goat’s surf forecast for next week. Unlike the models, he brings decades of experience surfing the east coast to the data.
