Hello Friends,
As expected, swell’s come back up this morning. It’s more out of the SE than earlier in the week, so we should have a few more options. At 0600 it was 1.7 metres at 11 seconds from 180 to 150 degrees. Offshore water temp was 18. As the pictures show, there was a crew on the point picking off the waist to chestish set waves. Up the beach looked a bit bigger, but it’s still the land of shutdowns and I couldn’t see anyone in the water.
Wind early was out of the westerly quarters at about 10-15 kts but the Bureau says it’ll swing S-SW later. Tide’s low at 0740 and back to high at 1410. Weather should be mostly sunny and it’ll get up to 18.
Waves should stick around all day and the weekend is shaping up pretty reasonably as well. The Goat seems to agree too.
Have a great Friday everyone and keep on smilin’!
