Hello Friends,
Looking pretty fun down at the point and along the beach this morning. Sunny skies and a reasonably consistent 2 metre SE-ESE 13-second swell combined with a 0940 low tide and light W-SW wind. I’d give it 7 out of 10.
Wind should stay light and variable until late in the day when it’s predicted to go more NE. Swell energy is expected to decline gradually across the day, so this morning will likely be the best of it.
The models continue to hold out little hope of surfable conditions beyond tomorrow afternoon. The rest of the week is shaping up to be small to flat – if the computers have it right. That said, there is some slight hope that around Friday we’ll get a boost into the surfable range. So here’s hoping.
I plan to get out and about with the camera, so there could be a few snaps to share later…
Have yourself a great Sunday!
