Hello Friends,
At 0700 wind was light and there were still occasional chest plus sets at Dee Why. Reasonable number of people in the water for the glassy little waves too. The wind’s expected to go from nothing much now to light east to SE later. As of 0500 the MHL buoy was showing 1.7 metres of 9-sec SSE swell. Tide was still three hours off the 1.9m high at 1015.
With luck the energy levels should only fade slightly across the daylight hours. By tomorrow the models and the Bureau are saying we can expect it to be down into the knee to waist high range. Be interesting to see what the Goat says, but I reckon if the forecasts hold, we’re looking at near flat for Saturday with a lot of NE wind and maybe only slightly better on Sunday at protected NE wind swell magnets.
So, it looks like the plan is to get on it asap.
Have a great Thursday!
