Clean and small, but you could get wet

Hello Friends,

We had a touch under 1.5 metres of 10-sec SSE swell out at sea as Monday got going. Wind was light and offshore under sunny skies. Along the beach at Dee Why there were little knee to waist high bumps at 0700. Tide was dropping to the low at 1015.

Should be a nice day weather-wise. Wind is supposed to be light and variable this morning before eventually settling into the NE. Waves should stick around at about the same level today. They’re likely to fade down to marginal tomorrow and Wednesday.
From about Thursday onward the swell models continue to look more promising. By Friday we could be seeing a metre or so of long-period east swell. And if they’re right, it could be a run of energy that lasts into the middle of next week. I guess this depends entirely on what happens with TC Victor. Still, it’s always good to see the models showing a week of solid swell in prospect!

Have yourself a great Monday one and all, and keep on smilin’!
