Cloudy again but waves again too

Hello Friends,

Another warm and humid day coming up. There’s only a 5% chance of no rain. Tide was low at 0620 and wind at 0800 was lightly NE (it’ll pick up later of course). Swell continues to be a mix of SE and NE components. At 0500 average height of the biggest component was the 1.6, 12-sec stuff coming from the NE.
There were a dozen or so at the point and a similar number along the beach in front of the club. Wave faces were in the waist to chest plus range.
Gotta run, but will have the camera with me and as always I’ll be looking for something more to share, so check back later.
Have yourself a great day one and all!

Weather Situation
A low pressure system west of Tasmania extends a front to western Bass Straight. Ahead of this system, generally northeasterly winds will prevail along the coast for the next day or two, with winds briefly shifting northwesterly in the north this morning as a trough moves from the inland to the Tasman Sea. The low is expected to develop into a more complex system and slowly move over southeast Australia during the weekend, with several centres and small scale troughs likely to develop within the complex, some over New South Wales Coastal Waters. With this system, there is considerable uncertainty regarding the position of these centres and troughs, which will have a significant influence on wind speed and direction.
