Flat as a flat thing at Dee Why this morning

Hello Friends,

0.7 metres at 6 seconds from the east says it all. There’s no surf this morning at Dee Why. And just to rub it in, skies are sunny and the wind is lightly offshore. For what it’s worth, tide’s dropping to the low at 1020.

The swell models don’t hold any joy for us either. There is the prospect of a little bump up tomorrow from a brief south pulse but the rest of the week doesn’t look terribly good.

Not the time to be headed off on surfari, but of course one can’t always do these things at the drop of the hat. So, off we go anyway. Assuming the network gods smile favourably, I’ll endeavour to send you postcards from the road. Who knows, maybe there’ll even be some of surfing.

Have yourself a great Monday everyone!
