Out for a paddle but no waves

Hello Friends,

Another beautiful morning in Sydney, but I couldn’t see anyone in the water chasing waves. There was a small flotilla of surf skiers heading around the headland to Curly though. Looks like a great morning to be out for a paddle.
The MHL buoy was showing a metre of 6-second south wind swell at 0500 and as of 0800 the North Head wind was west at 6-8 kts. It’s supposed to back off later and it’ll be sunny all day. Tide is high at 10:15.
Enjoy the beautiful day because the Bureau says we can expect showery weather through to the weekend. Wednesday looks like being stormy and no good for waves, but Thursday might be a possibility. If the models have it right, we could see 3-4 metres of south swell and strong SW wind. It then looks as though there should be waves into the weekend. Here’s hoping!
Have a great Sunday!
