Hello Friends,

Sunny, warm and glassy as the day kicks off in Sydney. But waves… you want waves? Well, I guess if you’re really keen you could grab the bodyboard or go for a body bash. Waves are struggling to make the knee high mark because there’s less than a metre of 8-sec SE wind swell lapping the shore. Looks like a good day for beach combing though – particularly given the forecast of rain from tonight through Saturday.

The Goat should be along with his usual weekend and beyond outlook later today, so I’ll just say I’m hoping he’ll have something good to say about Sunday’s prospects…

Have a top old Thursday one and all!

Weather Situation
A cold front has brought a brief west to southwesterly wind change to coastal New South Wales, with winds generally becoming fairly light by this afternoon as a weak pressure pattern returns. A new low pressure trough is expected to develop over southwest Queensland during Thursday, deepening into a low pressure system as it shifts into New South Wales on Friday, accompanied by increasing northerly winds over much of the coast. The system is expected to move away to the east fairly rapidly on Saturday, with winds shifting west to southwesterly in its wake as a ridge extends across from the west.
