After a rainy night, Saturday morning dawned overcast and still. Unfortunately there’s only a very weak knee and a bit high east windswell lapping into Crescent Head. Four folk on standups were having a cut at it, but even with the leverage of paddles they were having a tough time catching and staying with the extremely soft and gutless wind lumps.
So, you’re missing nothing up this way.
And that’s curious because the MHL buoy data is showing 1.5 metres of generally E to ESE swell with 12 or so second periods. Definitely no 12 sec stuff around here.
