Big stuff all gone and back to tiny

Hello Friends,

Three days of thumping swell dried up overnight and Monday morning sees ankle to knee dribble at the point and knee to waist and a bit as you move north along the beach. Tide is filling into a 1.5m high at 0855 and wind was coming from the WNW at 7 kts. The MHL buoy was showing less than a metre of 12-sec SSE swell at 0500 but the Bureau’s swell model is hinting at a possible bump up around midday. And tomorrow looks like maybe coming up again in the afternoon as a long period pulse arrives from the south. Outlook for the rest of the week varies from model to model, but the more hopeful predictions are suggesting 2+ metres for Thursday morning. Here’s hoping!
