Looking good

Hello Friends,

Fun shoulder high sets lining into the point at 0700 – and mostly shutting down along the beach. Tide was coming into the 1035 1.5m high. Wind was going pretty hard. At North Head it was WMW 18-24 kts. The forecast says it’ll gradually go more W to SW this morning – but it won’t lighten up. The MHL buoy was recording 1.7m of 15-sec SSE swell.
The Bureau says this morning’s pulse will fade back to smaller again as the day goes along. So, the plan is to hit it early – or wait for tomorrow when we could well have a rinse and a repeat as the swell spikes again overnight and then fades back in the afternoon.
A quick glance at the long range forecasts this morning shows a fair degree of alignment about next week’s prospects. They’re pretty much all calling for a 2-3m south pulse ramping up around Tuesday and lasting into the following weekend. Who knows if it’ll actually play out that way, but it’s still nice to have it on the cards.
Have a great Wednesday everybody!
